Allison Tait (A. L. Tait) is the internationally published, bestselling author of 12 middle-grade novels, as well as the author of four non-fiction books for adults. A former magazine journalist, she is the founder of Your Kid’s Next Read, the largest online children’s book community in Australia and co-host of the Your Kid’s Next Read podcast.
Allison has visited many schools in the local area to share her reading and writing tips, and was the children’s program director for the Shoalhaven Readers + Writers Festival (2018-2020). She lives and creates in Nowra, where all 12 of her middle-grade novels have been written.
