EdoMatcha is an organic Japanese tea business supplying matcha, loose-leaf teas sourced directly from organic tea farms, and traditional teaware from Japan.
Founded in Sydney in 2020 — where we previously ran a teashop in Newtown — EdoMatcha relocated to North Nowra in December 2025, bringing our passion for Japanese tea culture to the Shoalhaven region.
We currently operate online and hold a stall at local markets, with our first Japanese tea workshop launching this weekend and planned to run twice monthly going forward.
EdoMatcha is led by Taka Kaneko, one of only two certified Japanese Tea Instructors in Australia and the first in NSW.
We’re excited to build connections with the local Nowra community and share Japanese tea culture through workshops, market stalls, and quality products.
