Nowra Youth Services Incorporated t/a Nowra Youth Centre has been in the Shoalhaven for 21 years!
NYC is a macro not-for-profit organisation who supports young people aged 12-24 years old.
We provide support & programs, in a safe, inclusive space to ensure young people have somewhere they can go to be their authentic selves.
With access to specialised, experienced youth workers, young people can talk through issues that may be impacting them & gain appropriate, accurate information and referrals to other services if thats what they need.
NYC offer drop in sessions twice a week – Wednesday’s & Friday’s for 12-17 year olds. Youth workers are available to support anyone outside that age range, by appointment where we can provide individual, 1 on 1 support in a trauma informed, safe environment.
NYC also provide holiday programs for 12-17 year olds where young people can engage in fun, safe, supervised activities & attend excursions 3 days a week – all for FREE.
