Originally founded as ‘Your Goals, Together’, our passionate team of 5 staff, and growing, provides meaningful support for people living with disability and mental health challenges while nurturing their creative endeavours.
Bringing stories to life:
Our expanded This Ability Press now supports aspiring authors AND illustrators, helping members transform their literary visions into published reality. From poetry to full publications – creativity knows no bounds!
Community-powered creativity: Members create art that funds the drop-in centre OR take home their masterpieces. The retail store showcases member and community creations with ALL proceeds returning to the makers.
Looking ahead: Writing and Art Competitions, encouraging everyone to enter with an extra focus on supporting aspiring creators living with disability or mental health barriers, more workshops open to everyone, plus seeking funding to sustain our free community services and subsidised events and social outings.
